Nireco America Corporation is built on the philosophy of unique technology, world class manufacturing and superior service. Our company has a long history and continually strives for excellence in all we do.
Our History dates back to 1950, when Nireco Corporation of Japan was incorporated as Nihon Regulator Co., Ltd.
A brief chronological history is:
1950 – Nihon Regulator Co., Ltd established
1968 – Conic Systems, Inc. established
1970 – Datatran Labs, established
1984 – Nihon Regulator Co. changes name to Nireco Corporation
1989 – Nireco stock goes public on JASDAC exchange
1991 – Conic Systems and Datatran joint venture on print system products
1994 – Nireco establishes Nireco USA branch office
1995 – Conic Systems and Nireco form Distribution agreement for North America
2000 – Conic Systems merges with Nireco USA forming Nireco America Corporation
2004 – Nireco America acquires Datatran Labs, Inc.
Today, the company has the rights to over 140 international patents and has electronic and mechanical, engineering, sales and service departments at its Port Jervis, NY facility and a technical center/show room in Carlstadt, NJ.
The Nireco Group in total has approximately 350 employees with manufacturing on three continents and sales and service centers throughout the globe with a 2006 market capitalization of approximately 100 million US dollars.
