Mounting Track
Description:
This plastic track is designed to hold the electronic circuit boards required for a specific control system. The mounting track is a nonconductive, rigid extruded PVC strip that will accept either 2 3/4 or 3 1/4 inch wide circuit boards.
The circuit boards are snapped in from the front of the track. Once in place, the circuit board is held securely via plastic ribs which also serve as shock absorbers to protect the boards from flexing and vibration. The flexible plastic ribs allow easy removal of the circuit boards for service or upgrades to the control system.
The plastic track is supplied with a series of slots on 2 inch centers that can be used to secure the track to the system control panel with 3/16 inch diameter plastic rivets or number 10 binding head screws. The mounting track may also be attached to the user's panel with metal screws or double sided tape. In the event that metal screws are used to secure the mounting track, the exposed screw heads must be covered with a non-conductive tape or other insulator.
The mounting track is available in 12 inch, 24 inch and 48 inch long pieces in both the 2 3/4 and the 3 1/4 inch wide sizes. The mounting track is supplied without the hardware required to attach it to the users control panel.Applications:
